Thermal Effect of PVC Windows Helps Health Improvement of the Elderly

VEC joined “the Survey on Thermal Environments and Activities of Daily Living of the Elderly in Their Houses”, which was conducted in Yamagata prefecture by National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). For the survey, the inner windows were installed in the houses where elderly persons in need of nursing care live, and a focus was put on how the inner thermal environments work on the health of the persons who live in the houses. The results show some health improvements that medical specialists for the aged acknowledged.

The survey results will be released in academic seminars.
